• HOBBIES: Reading (I am a bookworm and can't resist any bookshop), watching films in cinema or for private pleasure on DVD (collecting filmography of a few actors), theatre, sometimes opera (love Handel, Purcell, Bach etc.) or musicals, supporting actively a couple of charities (Amnesty International, Oxfam, Medecines sans Frontieres and a South African AIDS trust apart from a few local English Arts and Heritage trusts), architecture and history, travelling, catching up with my friends from all over the globe.

I'd say everything by Clive Owen/Daniel Craig, some Ioan Gruffudd, most by Hugh Dancy, almost everything by Ray Winstone and Christopher Eccleston and quite recently Mads Mikkelsen. Also a lot by Nic Cage; Leaving Las Vegas and Bringing Out the Dead being my favourites, most by Kevin Spacey. I also collect Ang Lee and David Lynch.

I do like other actors too like Gael Garcia Bernal, Anthony Lapaglia, Geoffrey Rush, John Malkovich, Cate Blanchett, Kate Winslet, Dame Helen Mirren, Miranda/Joely Richardson, Julianne Moore, Meryl Streep. I am sure I have forgotten a few and this list is by no means exhaustive. There are so many young talents coming up and I always keep my eyes open for them... |

• HOBBIES: Playing violin, piano and singing. Soccer, basketball, cycling, swimming, reading, writing, drawing and last but certainly not least; acting (not dancing unless it's Greek folk dancing and that's when people try to shoot me due to sheer embarrassment at being in my presence).

I love epics, sweeping romances a la Gone with the Wind and of course sagas like Star Wars and Lord of the Rings, and I do have a weak spot for Harry Potter and of course, Monty Python. If an actor moves me I will like any type of film, even if it is technologically poor, a great cast and well delivered dialogue can make a movie incredibly sophisticated.
